Bio

Juan Pimentel enters his first season as Assistant Coach with Indian River State College. His primary responsibility as an assistant will be to lead the River’s pitching Staff. This program is not new to him, as he was part of the IRSC Baseball Program in the years 2013-2015, as a starting pitcher. Juan was voted 1^st team all Sothern Conference in both his freshman and sophomore years by the league’s coaches. After Indian River, Pimentel went on to finish his college career at The University of Central Florida, where he was an integral part of one of the best pitching staffs in D1 Baseball. The UCF staff led the team to an American Conference Championship as well as a NCAA Tournament appearance at the Tallahassee Regional. At UCF he played under Head Coach, Greg Lovelady.

The Miami native earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. He was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and made the move to the United States when he was 13 years old.

Juan is the son of Juan and Ana Pimentel. He currently resides is Port St. Lucie, FL.
