FORT PIERCE, FL - The River took on Eastern Florida on Saturday and came up short in a tough loss. It was a hard week for the River, but they continued to show they belong, fighting all the way until the final buzzer. Once the River fixes the slow starts at the beginning of games, the outcome will be different. There's no doubt Coach Jackson and his staff will get them back to work and address it.
The River was led by guard Adam Squire with 27 points. Tamiel Green had another strong performance, finishing with 18 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double. Caleb Cameron also recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Terryon Stebbins chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds.
I'll say it again—once the River cleans up the small things, it's going to be a scary sight to see just how good they can be.
