MIAMI, FL - The River Basketball team is on a back-to-back winning streak, and it's helping them climb the conference standings. They've got to keep their momentum rolling. Leadership from Adam Squire was huge as he controlled the game from start to finish.
The River pulled off a tough 1-point win over Miami Dade. Anthony Ferrer hit a clutch three-pointer with 8 seconds left to give the River a 3-point lead and secure the victory. Adam Squire led the way with 29 points, going an impressive 9-for-12 from the three-point line while adding 7 rebounds. Caleb Cameron chipped in 14 points, and Tamiel Green had another big performance with 12 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.
It was a great feeling for the River to get another win and keep the streak alive. The team now turns its focus to the next challenge, returning home on Saturday to face Hillsborough Community College. With momentum building and confidence growing, the River will look to defend their home court and extend the winning streak.
