River Powers Past Polk State

FORT PIERCE, FL - The River bounced back in a big way on Saturday, handing Polk State College a tough 99–77 loss. The win gives the River a boost in the conference standings and shows the team is hitting its stride at the right time. With the victory, the River now sits at 15–11 overall and 7–6 in conference play.

The River had strong moments throughout the game and maintained control from start to finish. Elliot had a big night with 19 points, going 5-for-7 from the three-point line. It was a confident performance and a great rhythm game for him offensively.

Caleb Cameron added 19 points and 8 rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends of the floor and making a major impact inside. Adam finished with 16 points, continuing to lead by example with his steady play. Sharief Parks came off the bench with an impressive double-double — 10 points and 11 rebounds — bringing energy, physicality, and toughness. Caleb Rivera also stepped up in a big way, dishing out 11 assists and keeping the offense flowing smoothly.

Overall, The River players stepped up collectively and secured a strong team win with balanced contributions across the board. Now, the focus shifts to Wednesday's big matchup against Eastern Florida State College. The coaches will put together a strong game plan as the team looks to carry this momentum forward.
