The River Clinches Spot in FCSAA State Tournament
FORT PIERCE, FL - The River clinched their spot last night with a big win over a Top 25 team. It was a complete team victory from start to finish. The community showed up and showed out, making Sophomore Night a true success. The energy in the gym was special, and the boys fed off it all night.
Now the focus shifts to preparing for the state tournament next week. The River was led by Anthony Ferrer, who came off the bench with a huge 28 points and 4 rebounds, knocking down 6 three-pointers. Caleb Cameron also provided a big spark off the bench with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Adam Squire filled up the stat sheet with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Tamiel Green dominated the paint once again, recording another double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds. Isiah Cameron added 13 points and 8 rebounds to round out one of The River's best overall scoring and rebounding performances of the season.
It was a total team effort at the right time — and now the boys are headed to the state tournament with momentum.
