The River Concludes Season at FCSAA DI Championship

NICEVILLE, FL - The River traveled to Niceville, FL to compete in the FCSAA DI Men's Basketball Championship, where they faced Gulf Coast but ultimately came up short. Despite the result, The River battled until the very end and left everything on the floor, showing resilience, toughness, and a competitive spirit throughout the contest. The outcome was not what the team had hoped for, but it served as a valuable eye-opener and highlighted areas for improvement as they work to earn their way back to this stage next season. The experience gained competing at this level will be crucial for the program's continued growth and will help fuel preparation throughout the offseason. This game also marked the close of The River's 2025–26 season.

The River was led by Isiah Cameron, who finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds, setting the tone with his energy and effort on both ends of the floor. Caleb Cameron added 13 points and 6 rebounds, providing a strong offensive presence, while Tamiel Green contributed 11 points and 7 rebounds, making key plays throughout the game. Adam Squire rounded out the effort with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists, helping facilitate the offense and maintain composure. Overall, it was a well-rounded team performance that showcased the group's competitiveness, unity, and determination on the big stage.
