Indian River Comes Up Short at Florida Southern College

LAKELAND, FL - The River men's and women's swimming team traveled to Florida Southern College to face the Mocs in college dual meet action, coming up short in a close competition. Despite the loss, River athletes put up a strong fight, only losing by a few points on both the men's and women's sides.

Women's Event Winners:

Tazmyn Robson – 200 free 1:52.05, 500 free 5:07.46

Paola Negrin – 200 IM 2:10.62

Wiktoria Maciuszek – 100 back 59.00

Kelly Zwart, Khloe de Santana Guidry, Marie Kopacova, Wiktoria Maciuszek – 200 free relay 1:37.31

Men's Event Winners:

Noah Smith, Marcus Johnson, Zack Gresham, Brayden Hunt – 200 medley relay 1:31.15

Knut Robinson – 1000 free 9:37.14

Zack Gresham – 100 fly 49.23

Noah Smith – 100 back 50.80

Marcus Johnson – 100 breast 55.56
