2025 NJCAA Swimming and Diving Champions

BUFFALO, NY- The Indian River State College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving programs successfully defended their NJCAA National titles in Buffalo, New York, on the campus of Erie Community College.

The women's team managed to win all 25 events on the way to securing their 47th National Championship—and 43rd in a row. On the men's side, the River men won 24 of the 25 events contested and earned their 51st National Title.

Even more impressive is that during the 4-day competition, 21 national records were set by River athletes.

Individual honors achieved at the 2025 National Championships were:

  • NJCAA Female Swimmer of the YearAurora Zanin
    1st place finishes in the 1000 Free, 400 IM, 200 Fly (National Record), and 1650 Free.

  • NJCAA Female Diver of the YearAlexandra Andueza
    1st place finishes and national records in both diving events.

  • NJCAA Male Swimmer of the YearOliver Nell
    1st place finishes in the 50 Free, 50 Back, 100 Back, and 50 Fly—all in National Record times.

  • NJCAA Male Diver of the YearJustin Halford
    1st place finishes in both diving events and a National Record in the 1m.

  • NJCAA Diving Coach of the YearDavid Suba

  • NJCAA Male Swim Coach of the YearSion Brinn

  • Knut Robinson – 500 Free

  • Tom Ferguson – 100 IM

  • Marcus Johnson – 200 Breast

With the season now over, the teams look ahead to the 2025–2026 season, which will conclude at the National Championships scheduled for Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida, on March 4–7, 2026.
