The River Prevails in Five-Set Home Thriller Over the Bobcats

FORT PIERCE, FL- The River gave their home crowd plenty to cheer about Saturday evening, battling past Pasco-Hernando State College in a thrilling five-set victory (23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 22-25, 15-9).

After dropping a tight opening set 23-25, The River responded with grit and energy, taking the second set 25-23 to even the match. The momentum carried into the third set, where strong serving and timely kills helped secure a 25-20 win and a 2–1 advantage.

Pasco-Hernando wasn't finished, however, as the visitors rallied late in the fourth set to edge The River 25-22 and force a decisive fifth frame. With the match on the line, The River rose to the occasion. Behind a loud home crowd and relentless defensive play, they powered through to a 15-9 finish, sealing the hard-fought victory.
