Rhamy and Childers Earn All-FCSAA and First Team All-Conference Honors

FORT PIERCE, FL — Indian River State College Volleyball proudly celebrates sophomores Maya Rhamy and Camryn Childers, who have both been named to the All-FCSAA Region Team and earned First Team All-Conference honors following standout seasons for the River.

Rhamy, a sophomore libero from McKinney, Texas, anchored the River's defense all season long, serving as a leader and steady presence in the backcourt. Appearing in 24 matches and 92 sets, Rhamy tallied 416 digs—averaging an impressive 4.52 digs per set—along with 79 assists and 27 service aces. Her consistency and relentless defensive effort set the tone for the team, making her one of the most dependable liberos in the conference.

In addition to her regional and conference honors, Rhamy was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the FCSAA Division II Volleyball Championship, standing out as the only libero among six competing teams to earn the accolade — a testament to her elite defensive play and leadership on the court.

Childers, a sophomore outside hitter from Cape Canaveral, Florida, showcased her versatility as a six-rotation player and one of the River's primary offensive weapons. Competing in 24 matches and 87 sets, Childers recorded 270 kills (averaging 3.10 kills per set) while hitting .144 on the season. She also added 29 aces and 250 digs, demonstrating her impact on both sides of the ball.

The dual honors mark a well-deserved recognition for both Rhamy and Childers, who conclude their sophomore campaigns as two of the top performers in the state and key contributors to the continued rise of River Volleyball.
