The River Tops Palm Beach State on the Road

LAKE WORTH, FL — The River Volleyball team picked up a strong road victory yesterday, defeating Palm Beach State College in four sets. Behind steady offensive execution and timely defensive stops, The River came away with a 3–1 win (25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 25-20).

The River opened the match with a convincing first-set win, taking control early and closing strong at 25-18. Palm Beach State responded in the second, pulling away late to even the match with a 25-21 win. From there, The River regrouped and dominated the third set 25-17, fueled by aggressive serving and consistent play at the net. In the fourth, The River maintained its composure down the stretch, securing the 25-20 win to clinch the match.

The River returns home today, September 18, for its first conference home match of the season against South Florida State College. First serve is set for 5:00 PM at The River.
